1st Alarm Companies were sent to the 1000 block of Ash St in Moosic early Sunday morning for a well involved single family residential fire. Moosic PD upon initial dispatch from their station, only blocks away, could see the header in the sky. Upon their arrival they found the 1 story over 50% involved in fire and unoccupied.

Engine 98 would make fast work of the water supply and  two master streams to quickly darken down the structure aiding in the protection of the exposure problem on both the B & D side of the home.

Assisting on single alarm box was Engine 93, Eng 93-3, Ladder 96, Rescue 95, Rescue 23 FAST & LA Ambulance. Chief Molinaro would have Operations, Aulisio would have Command and also on the Command Deck were Chief's Tagliaterra and the highly decorated MID VALLEY CHIEF CHOWANEC !!!

Companies operated for nearly two hours and returned to service. A PSP Fire Marshall has determined that the fire was Arson. Anyone with any information is asked to call Moosic PD or PSP Dunmore.
