Moosic PD while on patrol came upon a single family wood frame on Brook St in Moosic with smoke coming from the roof structure. The box was transmitted and within 6 minutes Engine 98 & the Chief arrived to find the two story wood frame with what appeared to be a fire in the walls and roof structure around a wood burner chimney.

The Engine 98 crew hand jacked 300' of 5" hose to grab the water supply and stretched the initial 2" line. Engine 93-3 would follow with the back up line. Rescue 95 & Ladder 96 would open things up to expose the fire. Engine 112 & Rescue 98 were held in staging and Rescue 23 had the FAST Trk duties. Chief 95-2 Jones had Command while Chief 98 Molinaro had Operations. Chief 112 VanLuvender also assisted.
